REMONDIS, a leading recycling, services and water company, has transformed its social media strategy with the introduction of Mate to give it an even stronger and more consistent online presence. Nelson Michalski, marketing and corporate communications officer, gave us an exciting insight into how Mate has helped to revolutionize the way content is created within the company.

Before Mate: a mixed bag

Before Mate came into play, REMONDIS' social media world was pretty fragmented. Different teams and subsidiaries were responsible for their own social media accounts, which was not always in line with the uniform brand identity. The need for a centralized solution that would strengthen the brand identity and make communication more effective became ever greater.

Why Mate was the perfect choice

Specially tailored to the needs of brand communication, Mate was just right. With this smart design system, even employees with no design skills can create professional content that is guaranteed to be in the corporate design. This has enabled the various REMONDIS locations to create their own content that still speaks a common language and consistently represents the brand.
